A little insight.
A lighter footprint.

Next-WinC uses its own website analytics to understand how the lab’s work reaches its audience.

What this lab records

Page-view events, the calendar date in Taipei, an approximate country from hosting-network metadata or, when unavailable, a representative-country estimate from the browser’s time zone, and the referring website’s hostname when available. A random session identifier helps group page views within a browser tab, with a 30-minute inactivity window. It is kept in session storage, rather than a tracking cookie.

What this analytics database leaves out

It does not store visitors’ IP addresses, names, email addresses, precise locations, full referring URLs, or browsing histories. It does not use an advertising tracker. Hosting services may maintain separate operational logs.

Your preferences

The analytics script honors Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Blocking JavaScript or session storage can also affect the statistics. Visit counts are session estimates, and VPNs and device time-zone settings can affect country estimates. The time-zone value is used to infer a country and is not retained in the analytics database.

Who can see the statistics?

The website owner can view the traffic dashboard. Individual visitor identities are not part of that dashboard.
